Mr. Letchford joined AES in 2014. Serving as Survey Manager for the Richmond office, he provides exceptional client service by leaning on extensive experience managing projects, both large and small in Central Virginia. He manages a team including field staff, office survey staff, and research professionals. His team provides a wide array of surveying services including ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, builder packages, subdivision plats, easement plats, as-builts, and construction stakeout.
Mr. Letchford began his surveying career in 1983, interning as a valuation surveyor of commercial properties in Great Britain. Following his graduation from Plymouth College in 1985, Mr. Letchford relocated to the US. He began his surveying career in Hampton Roads, Virginia in 1987.
In addition to his professional growth, Mr. Letchford has spent several years as an adjunct professor for JSRCC in Richmond, teaching courses in surveying. He is a past President of the Virginia Association of Surveyors and continues to contribute to the development of Virginia’s survey profession.
