Mr. Letchford joined AES in 2014 as the Survey Manager for the Williamsburg Office. He provides exceptional client service by leaning on extensive experience managing projects, both large and small, in and around central Virginia. He manages a large team including field staff, office survey staff, and a research professional. His team provides a wide array of surveying services including ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, builder packages, subdivision plats, easement plats, as-builts, and construction stakeout, among many others.
Mr. Letchford began his surveying career in 1983, interning as a valuation surveyor of commercial properties in Great Britain. Following his graduation from Plymouth College in 1985, Mr. Letchford relocated to the US. He began his surveying career in Hampton Roads, Virginia in 1987.
In addition to his professional growth, Mr. Letchford has spent the last 7 years as an adjunct professor for JSRCC in Richmond, teaching courses in surveying. He is a past President within the VAS.
