Project Description
AES provided full civil site design services for Rutland Commons, located in Hanover County. The 20-acre site features 139,000 sq. ft. of retail space, a 74,000 sq. ft. Kroger grocery store, and 5 outparcel sites. Rutland Commons is located at the entrance to a larger master planned community. AES worked closely with neighboring developments to maintain the design standards of the overall development. In addition to landscaped sidewalks, sitting areas and focal points, the AES design also includes a pond with underground detention.
