Project Description
AES provided full civil site design and surveying services to Sunrise at Bon Air, a 75-unit assisted living and Alzheimer’s care facility located in Chesterfield County. This was a 5-acre infill project located within an already developed and well-established area. The landscape design incorporates a concept of interconnectivity between the buildings, gazebos, and benches, creating a park-like setting. The site design allowed for the preservation of many existing trees and green spaces. AES overcame the challenging stormwater management issues of an infill site by utilizing existing stormwater infrastructure and underground detention.
