Mr. Kemp completed internships with WM Jordan the summer of 2013 and AES the summer of 2014. After earning his degree in Civil Engineering, with a minor in Green Engineering, from Virginia Tech he joined AES in 2015.
Today, Mr. Kemp is an AES shareholder and Project Manager, responsible for leading an engineering team and providing technical guidance to emerging engineers. He has worked on projects ranging from small residential developments to large commercial developments. He has extensive experience in site planning, grading, drainage and utility design.
Mr. Kemp is well-versed in CAD design standards and Auto CAD Civil 3D. He is an excellent communicator and collaborator who is able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Each day he works to fuse his technical knowledge and project experience for the benefit of both his coworkers and clients.
