Project Description
AES provided comprehensive civil site design services for Huntington Pointe, a mixed-use development located in Newport News. This 188-acre site is being developed in two phases. At full development, the site will feature 800 apartments, 2,550 single-family homes, and over 320,000 sq. ft. of commercial space. Once completed, it will be the largest new neighborhood built in the city since the 1980s. The stormwater management consists of master-planned wet pond BMPs. The storm system and ponds have been sized to accommodate a full build-out of the development.
