Project Description
AES provided comprehensive civil site design services for Midlothian Village Square, located in Chesterfield County. The 8.6-acre site features a pedestrian friendly design, an entrance off Midlothian Turnpike, and a mix of retail, restaurant and office space. The site plan utilized Filtera Bioretention Sytems. These low impact design components use trees and shrubs to provide biofiltration of onsite stormwater. These design components eliminated the need for space consuming stormwater management facilities, maximized overall land use, and enhanced the aesthetic beauty of the development.
