When I was a kid, I thought home renovations would be fun, but I don’t know about that now.
After earning his degree in 2014, Mr. Knopp began his civil engineering career full time with Blackwell Engineering. His career has progressed from his first tasks of drafting and layout work for a wastewater plant expansion. In 2022, Blackwell Engineering became part of AES Consulting engineers. Today, Mr. Knopp manages multiple projects including the design of residential subdivision, mini-storage sites, poultry houses, commercial sites, and much more. From stormwater management, to grading, to utility layout, to rezoning support, he independently manages many aspects of site design projects, often working directly with clients.
