Jeffrey Oswald, P.E. – Project Manager

After graduating with a BSCE and EIT certification, and at the recommendation of several college professors, Mr. Oswald began his engineering career in the field as a Project Engineer for a large civil construction company. His time there was spent working on mass-excavation and complex utility projects in the Baltimore/DC Metro area. After a few years of field experience, Mr. Oswald moved to Virginia and joined Blackwell Engineering in 2005. There, he began designing commercial sites, residential subdivisions, apartment complexes and a few private rail projects.

In 2009, Mr. Oswald pivoted to pursue another career interest as a public-school mathematics teacher. He taught for 7 school years before returning to Blackwell Engineering. In 2022 Blackwell Engineering became part of AES Consulting Engineers. Today he manages various projects including residential subdivisions, fuel stations, commercial centers, and much more. Mr. Oswald serves clients directly, striving to provide timely and cost-effective engineering solutions that improve local communities.
