“CARDINAL COMEBACK // Once Virginia announced its shutdown as a result of COVID-19, AES Consulting Engineers moved quickly transitioning 90% of its 50-employee workforce to at-home / remote working status in a matter of days. Due to the commitment of all staff to continue working in new environments, AES clients experienced no disruption in service. AES continued to support the vital construction industry with land surveying and engineering design, helping folks stay employed and projects stay on track, as the state worked to best understand and manage the pandemic. AES procured 300 face shields and donated them to local health care providers to support and protect front line professionals. The firm also stood ready to provide any pro-bono design work for any tent cities that may have been required for a potential COVID-19 surge. Thankfully, this was not needed. Throughout this challenging time, AES worked to balance critical employee health and safety concerns with the importance of providing exceptional client service to keep projects moving and Virginians employed.” ~ Virginia Economic Developers Association
