AES provided comprehensive civil site design and surveying services for Midtown Row, a mixed-use redevelopment located in Williamsburg, Virginia. Midtown Row will have ten buildings on 19.02 acres. The design includes 240 residential units, 233,047 sq. ft. of retail space, and 6,319 sq. ft. of office space. Some existing retail such as ACE Hardware, Marshalls, Food Lion, ABC, and Sal’s by Victor get to stay in newly renovated spaces while new tenants like Earth Fare, The Meadows Original Frozen Custard and London Co. Coffee and Tea are included. Features completing the interconnectivity of this urban redevelopment include a parking garage, a $3 million streetscape, as well as a village green for community events.
