Mr. Holmes embarked on his surveying career as a teenager at his family’s business, Ward M. Holmes Land Surveyor, P.C., established by his father in 1982. Starting as an entry-level rodman, he advanced to become a Licensed Surveyor and ultimately took the helm as President in 2018. Eager to broaden his expertise, Mr. Holmes closed the family business and transitioned to roles such as Surveying Project Manager, Director of Survey Services, and currently Survey Manager for AES in Chesapeake. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to clients, implementing advancements in surveying technology, and mentoring the next generation of surveying professionals.
