Ironbound Square

AES worked with the James City County Office of Housing and Community Development to redevelop Ironbound Square. The 18.10-acre site features 121 total units, 67 senior housing units, and 41 single family homes. The AES design incorporated 13 homes that remained on site to be renovated. AES coordinated multiple charettes to encourage public support and involvement. Funding for the project included a $1.0 million CDBG grant, and over $1.6 million in other state, local, and federal funds.
