AES provided master planning, surveying, and civil site design services for Bay Creek, a 1,500-acre residential resort development currently being built in Cape Charles on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The site features seven existing subdivisions consisting of 750 units, a future expansion of eight subdivisions consisting of 625 units, and two golf courses. There is also a 350-acre nature preserve with walking and biking trails, planned activity areas, and access points for the waterways.
The site design consists of a utility backbone system, which includes two vacuum sewer pump stations, nine and a half miles of vacuum sewer collector lines, a sanitary force main, and eleven miles of a water distribution system.
