AES employees, led by AES Cares, had the pleasure to volunteer their time to Virginia Peninsula Foodbank twice in the last two weeks. Last week, AES assisted with Virginia Peninsula Foodbank's mobile food pantry efforts. The mobile food pantry distributes food to those in the community that need access to groceries for themselves and their family
Earlier this month, AES Cares led a company-wide volunteering effort. AES employees volunteered their time to assist Peninsula Rescue Mission to join their fight against homelessness. AES helped to serve dinner at The House of Refuge, Peninsula Rescue Mission's men's emergency shelter. Breakfast and dinner are just a couple of the many services offered each day.
